Readers Herts County Trophy
The final of the Readers Herts County Trophy will take place between Abbots Langley and Leverstock Green on Sunday 6th September. The match will be held at Hemel Hempstead CC, starting at 12 noon. All spectators are very welcome.
Umpire and Scorer Training Update
The Course dates and venues have been finalised for this winters Level umpire and scoring courses. Please read the letter from the HACO Education Officer. Click here for details of the umpire and scorer courses and an application form for the scorers course.
Kreeda Herts Village Trophy - Finals Day
Finals Day of the Herts Village Trophy, sponsored by Kreeda International took place on 23rd August. The winners were Bourne End CC, for the second successive year. Winner of the Golden moment in final was Tom Laskowski for superb diving catch at deep mid off.
Final Result - Bourne End 174-4 (20 overs) beat Pirton 131-7 (20 overs).
Semi Final 1 - Thorley 119-7 (20.0 overs) lost to Pirton 123-3 (14.2 overs)
Semi Final 2 - Bourne End 169-9 (20 overs) beat Bentley Heath 152-6 (20 overs)

Bunbury charity day at Ware
The Bunburys are in town again on August Bank Sunday - the 30th, as Ware CC hosts the major sporting event of the year at their beautiful home ground in Widford. Middlesex regulars Dexter, Malan & Denly plus celebrities the Weasley twins and King Arthur's Merlin are all available for selection and Steven Finn has been invited - he played last year, beware Ware! more..
Celebrate the Ashes with Aggers
On Friday 25th September Allenburys County Hall CC are hosting an evening with Jonathan Agnew, a great way to finish the season and celebrate England regaining the Ashes! For those in the west of the county, Aggers and Henry Blofeld are on stage at the Watford Colosseum a few days later, 29th September.
DON'T FORGET - After Match Reporting
All clubs are reminded to complete the facilities and umpires marking by 11pm on Tuesday. Reports are available on the Results menu to check these have been done. This applies to all matches, included those cancelled due to weather or conceded.
