|Have your say and influence the future of your cricket by taking part in this year’s National Cricket Playing Survey.
The 2016 survey is now open and is the shortest ever – a ‘pulse-check’ taking less than 10 minutes. You can give feedback on your satisfaction with the game, the effectiveness of any changes you’ve experienced, and your thoughts on how your club cricket should continue to change.
By taking the survey, you will also have the chance to win a £250 voucher for the ECB online shop, which stocks all the latest playing equipment. Whether you’re a first team regular, or play the odd Sunday friendly game, this is your chance to make your views heard and get the cricket you want. Take the survey at: www.ecb.co.uk/survey|

|Berkhamsted CC is sad to announce the passing away of one its best friends and most stalwart cricketers, Andre Machon. He had been playing for the club for 45 years ever since he was a colt cricketer - always 2 days a weekend - and must have scored well in excess of 30,000 runs for the club as a regular, obdurate higher order batsman. He will have been well known to players of other clubs for his dry wit, even though a man of few words. He knew the location of most, if not all, the grounds of Hertfordshire - doubly impressive as he didn't own a car - and always knew his exact score while batting. He lost a long battle with cancer, which was the only thing to stop him playing, but it was fantastic that he could come down and watch us win games at the club on July 16th. He will be sorely missed.|
